Gujarat Court On Cow Slaughter: A court in Gujarat’s Tapi district sentenced a man to life imprisonment for smuggling cows. While pronouncing the sentence, the court made a very special comment while expressing its displeasure over cow slaughter. The court said, “If cow slaughter is stopped, then all the problems of the earth will be solved by themselves.”

According to a report in legal news website Live Law, the Tapi district court said in its order, “If cow slaughter is stopped, all the problems of the earth will be solved.” Sameer Vinodchandra Vyas, chief district judge of the district court, further said, “The houses built using cow dung are not affected even by atomic radiation.”

Cure for many diseases with cow urine

He enumerated the innumerable advantages of the cow in his order. He said, “It is possible to cure many incurable diseases with cow urine.” The judge claimed that religion originated from the cow because religion is made from Taurus, the son of a cow is Taurus. The court said, “Where the cows are happy, all wealth and property are attained. The cow is the mother of Rudra, the daughter of Vasu, Aditi the sister of the sons and Dhrurupa the treasure of nectar.”

Cow slaughter linked to climate change

The Chief District Judge further said, “Cow is not just an animal, but it is mother. That’s why it is named as mother. A cow is the living planet of 68 crore holy places and thirty three crore deities. The day when cow’s blood Not even a single drop will fall on the earth, all the problems of the earth will be solved.”

The judge also linked cow slaughter with climate change. He said, “The problems that are there today are due to increasing irritability and hot temper. The only reason for the increase in this is the slaughter of cows.” However, there is no scientific basis for these claims of the judge.

According to the report of Bar and Bench, on 27 August 2020, the police illegally seized a truck carrying more than 16 cows and calves. A person named Mohammad Amin was also arrested along with the truck. The accused have been booked under relevant provisions of the Gujarat Animal Preservation (Amendment) Act 2017, Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960, Gujarat Control of Animal Transport Order 1975 and Gujarat Essential Commodities and Animal Control Act 2015 and the Central Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2015 Was. The court has sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh in the same case.
